Robert Lee (pictured in the center), manager of the Mountain View Tire Palm Desert store since 2001, was recently honored by the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce's "Make Someone a Star" program. It's the city's effort to recognize those who go above and beyond to provide a higher level of customer care.

“We’re looking for that unique situation where a retail or service provider went the extra mile to provide excellent customer service,” said Ruth Ann Moore, Palm Desert economic development manager. But as far as Robert and the rest of the Mountain View Tire team are concerned, delivering outstanding service is the goal with EVERY customer. It's the commitment at the heart of what we call "the WOW experience."
