Honest Mechanics that Give Superb Customer ServiceI just wanted to take the time out to write this review about this facility and the individuals (Oscar and Robert) who provided me with excellent customer service. My ex-husband had used the facility in Fontana numerous amount of times and was extremely content. I moved closer to the Montclair location and thought I would try them. (Honestly, I was skeptical because I am a woman and did not know what to expect.) They treated me like a customer that had been with them for years.
They told me all of the things they would be checking that were standard. I did not have to pay extra. That was a relief, as I am driving across country alone and wanted to make sure everything was okay. There were no hidden charges. They made a few recommendations but nothing major and I was extremely blissful. Robert took the time to explain questions I had without rushing me. (The dealership does not even do that. Thanks Robert.) Oscar assured me that I was ready to drive across country and wished me a safe journey.
I am not receiving any compensation to write this. I just want customers to know that this place has great mechanics and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Do yourself a favor - go and get a simple oil change, and you will be amazed at how customer oriented they are.

I am writing this letter to let you know how pleased my wife and I are with the service that is given to us from your Mountain View Goodyear store on Central Ave. in Montclair. Oscar Mendez, the store manager, goes out of his way to make our visit a good experience. His staff works well together and show pride in their work. Oscar is one of the reasons we will continue to bring our vehicles for service and any other service that is needed. We will not hesitate to recommend Oscar's store's services to our family and friends. We just thought that you should be aware of the great service this location gives.

Air Conditioning ServiceI went into the shop to run an air-conditioning diagnostic on my car. Chris Hurd the Retail Sales Manager gave me a call and let me know my car needed the wire on the compressor fixed and advised me that I was low on freon and would need to be charged. Charging me a rough $87 on the diagnostic and $60 to add the freon and to charge it. I told him that was too much and he insisted that it was only $60 more and if that wasn't fixed then it wouldn’t blow any cool air. He then told me he would do the wire to the compressor fixed for free but I would definitely need the freon because it was low and charged it as well. I asked him if there was a leak in my air conditioning unit and he said "NO" then I asked why would my a/c unit be low on freon if there is no leak and he said, he didn't know. Overall, I was very unsatisfied with the customer service because I felt that he was adding a service I didn't need and continued to pressure me to get the service. In addition, he didn't know why I was low on freon which made me question his expertise as a Retail Sales Manager after he already had run the diagnostic and I was paying for it. I will not come back to this shop ever again because of the customer service and credibility of this employee. I have been coming in for many years to this shop and this was the worst customer service I have experience.
