The customer is always number one at Mountain View Tire.
In fact, our company is based on providing customers with "the WOW experience." We want you to enjoy your experience so much that you'll tell your friends and family about us, and return yourself whenever you need tires or automotive service. It's that commitment to our customers that earned us the title of Modern Tire Dealer magazine's 2011 Tire Dealer of the Year.
The Mountain View Tire team works to earn your trust and demystify automotive service by providing you with information that allows you to make informed decisions about your vehicle care. All Mountain View locations adhere to the guidelines of the Motorist Assurance Program. And we're especially dedicated to providing a positive experience for our female customers. To that end, our staff has completed a unique training program through AskPatty.com. Read more here.
Nick Mitsos was born the only son of Greek immigrants. Upon completing a two-year tour with the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division in 1964, Nick went to work for his father in the restaurant business. After 18 years in the food service industry, he decided to pursue a career in the automotive business. In 1987, Nick moved his family from New York to Southern California to open his first Goodyear retail tire center. Through his dedication to customer satisfaction and the Goodyear name, Nick earned the respect and admiration of the largest tire company in the nation, and many happy customers.
Nick's first Goodyear Tire Center was in Duarte, California. The store's location provided a magnificent view of the snow-covered San Gabriel Mountains, so he decided to name his business Mountain View Tire and Service. That inspiration also carried over to the family's other passion - drag racing. The Mountain View Racing team runs their Pro Stock car at major NHRA events all over the United States.
Our Dedication to Customer Satisfaction
Two of Nick's sons - Chris and Mike - serve as the company's vice-presidents, and his youngest son, Paul, is currently a district manager. With a sister, a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law also working alongside Nick, Mountain View Tire can truly be called a family-owned and operated business. That means the family name and reputation are on the line every day. And that's another reason the Mitsos family is so committed to exceeding the expectations of their customers.
"We are completely dedicated to giving each and every customer the WOW experience. It's not enough to satisfy our customers. We have to give them a reason to be excited and to prove to them that they will never have to find another place for their tires and auto service needs." - Nick Mitsos
