I came in initially with my fiancée to get our '05 Dodge Stratus looked at after having it die on us in the middle of a rainstorm. It was on a Sunday, which made the timing even worse due to the limited repair shops open. We towed it over to Mountain View [Camarillo] where we were greeted by Tony. He was very courteous and helpful.
The fix was going to be expensive due to the timing belt snapping and causing valve damage, so we decided to get rid of it. Although we opted out for the repair, they allowed us to keep the car parked there for several days until we could afford to have it towed away.
The second visit was for my car: an '05 Volvo S60. I called Tony at Mountain View because I remembered how friendly he was and knew he would be able to help me out with my flat tire. He offered to fix it within the hour for an affordable rate.
Bottom line is, I've had a great experience using this repair shop and would highly recommend to anyone. Tony is a great asset to the business and I will return for future repairs.
Mountain View Tire [Camarillo] really cares about their customers. Tony, Cory, and Tim were very kind, respectful, honest and knowledgeable.
I brought my VW Jetta in due to my catalytic converter [being] bad and needing to be replaced. It was going to cost me $1,500. But they called around to get better prices and what they did was actually better! They asked the VW dealership if my car was still under the emissions warranty, and it was!
Thanks to them I saved $1,500 and had my catalytic converter replaced at VW with no money out of my pocket. I also had my Toyota Sienna serviced here fast and at a great price! This is the only place I trust my car at and will continue to keep coming here.

Everyone was so nice and went way above and beyond to assist me in an unexpected and difficult situation. It’s like driving a new car again. I will definitely return for any future needs.
So I have the worst luck with running over screws. Third tire in 4 months I've had to get patched up. I go in to get this one done [at Huntington Beach] and, unfortunately for me, my tire was so bald they couldn't even patch it. Found out two of my tires were unsafe and needed to be replaced.
As a single mom, panic starts to set it on how I could afford to replace them. Doing both didn't seem to be an option, so I told them to go ahead and replace the one that had air leaking.
Two minutes later, the manager, Robert, comes out, realized it was a money issue, and found a way to lower the price so I could get both taken care of right away. Instantly, relieved my stress! Extremely kind and understanding. Actually, every employee I interacted with was so nice!
Got it done in record time, which I was so grateful for since I had my toddler with me.
Thanks again, Robert! You're amazing and I really appreciate your help! Thanks for making a stressful thing so much easier to deal with.
I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the top notch, HONEST service that I have become accustomed to receiving at Mountain View Tire and Auto Service [Winchester].
Today, after church, I needed gas, filled the tank, and the car did not want to start. It backfired and emitted this terrible black smoke. I finally got it to turn over. It sputtered all the way. The car kept dying at every light and the brake was resistant. I just knew I was in for some major automotive work. My biggest fear was that the engine was blown.
Sam got me checked in and indicated that he had one mechanic on duty, but he would make sure that my vehicle was assessed.
I received a call a few hours later from Sam and was truly expecting the worst news. We had already put $4,000 into a new transmission, and the car still isn't paid off!
Sam explained that it was a minor issue. An air line had come loose and the mechanic had fixed it. He further explained that there would be no charge. I almost cried.
Upon arrival, I spoke to the mechanic. He and Louie assured me that I was welcome to take a test drive, but that he felt the issue was resolved. Sure enough, it was and the car is running fine.
This shop has come to be our trusted source for any auto repair work we need. Thank you, Sam and Louie. Oh, and Robert, too, as he has assisted us numerous times.

This shop is the real deal. Adam, Steph and Mike provided me with great service late in the day and with wonderful attitudes. I called two other shops before I called this shop and I was told by Mountain View Tire, "Sure, bring it in." The other shops told me it was too late even before I explained the problem. And I had children with me! I was desperate.
When I called Mountain View Tire [Eastvale], Adam answered, LISTENED, and said, "Come on in." He treated me as a peer. Unless you are a senior, you can't appreciate being treated so considerately. I witnessed these men treat everyone the same - with respect.
Not only is my car running great, I found an auto service I can trust and feel comfortable with. These are old-school manners practiced in this shop. I never got the feeling I was bothering them by arriving so late. As a senior, I am thrilled when I find service providers like this. The quality of work is complemented by the staff.
One last thought that comes to mind: after reading previous reviews, why do we pressure mechanics to rush, rush, rush? Shouldn't the priority be on safety and doing the best job to keep us safe? And since they are the professionals and want our return business, shouldn't we accept the time involved? Just saying...
This review is to give an A++ to Pete at the Tustin store!
I first met Pete when I just dropped in to get nitrogen in my tires. I had no idea he was the manager, and he filled my tires with a big smile and friendly attitude.
Soon it was clear that I truly needed 4 new tires - filling them was just a stop-gap - and I called the store to set up an appointment. That was when I officially met Pete. He was with a customer at the time, but took the time to connect with me, took my phone number, and soon called me back. Within minutes, I had a quote, an appointment, and peace of mind.
Today I brought my car to Pete, who treated me with the utmost patience and respect.
I completely trusted that he would do right by me, and that is exactly what happened. My car drives like a new vehicle, the price was good, and the warranty is comprehensive - and Pete walked me through all the details of the receipt and the warranty, still with his patience and warm smile.
I have been coming to the Mountain View Tire in Tustin for many, many years and recommend it to my friends and family. Pete is an excellent manager and valuable asset to Mountain View Tire who should be commended for his professionalism, his courtesy, and his friendly manner.

Yesterday I pulled into Mountain View Tire and Auto Service [Montclair] with a tire that was badly leaking air.
Jacob Richards promptly greeted me in a very friendly manner and let me know he would assess my situation. He did so very quickly and advised that my tire could not be patched, and that the tire I needed could be available Monday. I needed to be home [that day], so that wasn't going to work.
He then went above and beyond by calling several other people who might have been able to provide the tire I needed and located a tire at a nearby location. I am so appreciative that he was willing to be so helpful, and wanted to let management know that is he an excellent employee!
Thanks for the great service provided by the [Murrieta] manager Mr. Napolitano and the service manager Mr. Gailey.
I called the manager for information on the service he provided. His telephone manners were superior to other businesses that I have encountered. His attitude was and is superior to many that I have done business with in my 74 years. Thanks for doing what you do.
And Mr. Gailey possesses superior service skills and humor. His mechanical skills are also of top quality.

Oscar has taken care of our cars the longest and, even though he is not at the Montclair location, he helped in correcting the problem we had. Oscar is by far your best asset! I wanted to take a moment to let you know about the exceptional service I received at the Rowland Heights location recently. While on a road trip in California, my partner and I ended up in a fender bender, which resulted in my car needing a new radiator.
Sam Kim and his team not only replaced the radiator within a few hours, they also provided us with extraordinarily friendly service, and even drove us to the local movie theater, so that our trip would not be ruined by having to spend a day in a mechanic's shop.
I am so very grateful that we happened to end up at the Rowland Heights Mountain View, and wish I could bring my car there for all my mechanical needs in the future. Sam Kim, as well as his team, were amazing, and I wanted to pass on how your employees turned what could have been a really negative experience into a positive one.

Just wanted to let you know that you have a very good staff at your Murrieta shop. Elio and Charlie are honest and fair people.
I have had my cars - an Infiniti and a Mercedes - serviced by these guys and have been quite content with the service and treatment. [They are] very respectful to everyone who comes in the door, saying “sir” and “ma’am.”
I have seen people - one being a friend of mine - come into the shop for a simple brake light change and they refused to charge them. [That’s] a sign of good people just helping good people out.
I will not be returning to my former mechanic who [worked] on our cars for several years. Elion and Charlie have earned my business.
