I appreciate the waiting room with coffee and a TV. They are open both Saturday and Sunday. They easily can accommodate same-day service.

Earnest and his crew [Long Beach] installed a lift kit on my FJ and they did everything right. They have done a lot of work on my truck and I trust them. The best shop in the area, the best value, and they stand behind their work. I posted their work and contact information on the FJ Cruiser Forum.
Hello! I am writing this to share yet another positive experience at the Long Beach, CA Mountain View Tire location.
I have been going to this particular Goodyear/MVT location for car service for 20 years and have recommended it to friends and family too many times to count.
I recently began hearing a funny sound upon applying my brakes and took it in to be checked after making an appointment online. I heard from Kevin within the hour, letting me know that I just needed an adjustment done on my rear brakes and it was ready to be picked up.
I will continue to go to the Long Beach MVT as I feel they are courteous, trustworthy and professional. Kevin has been who I have dealt with most of the last year, as we have multiple cars, and he is always friendly and helpful.
I brought my Saturn in for service on 11/4/2010 and Earnest [Selma at Long Beach] was TREMENDOUSLY helpful. He figured out a way to bring the cost of repair down to a level that fit my budget, provided for transportation to and from my house, and was polite, considerate and kind throughout the whole process. I would have forwarded this note of appreciation sooner, but unfortunately I misplaced the contact information. When I found it this afternoon I was delighted to be able - at long last - to let Mountain View Tire know how pleased I was to do business with Earnest. I will recommend your facility and Earnest to all my friends and colleagues. Thanks again.
Very rarely in this day and age do I find something that truly impresses me, but the folks at your Long Beach, California store (2169 Bellflower Avenue) deserve my praises. Never before have I been so fairly treated and received such overall quality. You have a true team of professionals at this location! Not only did (Managers) Todd Hanbrough and Greg Chesney do themselves proud, but so did Ernest and the entire crew. This is truly an establishment I will frequent for ALL my automotive needs! I will always promote this store and these people to any person I know needing automotive care.
Todd [Hansbrough], a service manager here in Long Beach, impressed me so much today that I decided to write this note. He was exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. I was also very impressed by the way he related to the mechanics in the shop, and I could sense a mutual respect among the team members.
To Who It May Concern,
Today I called looking for pricing to repair a flat tire. I called your location in Long Beach on Bellflower Boulevard and spoke to Earnest Selma. He informed me that he could fix my tire free of charge. I arrived at your store for the repair and, after assessing the situation, Earnest delivered the bad news. The damaged tire was unrepairable and the other rear tire had a nail and also needed repair.
Furthermore, there was considerable wear on my front tires. (He actually showed me the problems too, and I could see them.) I gave poor Earnest a difficult time. I did not want to believe what he was telling me. I was recently laid off, like so many hard-working, innocent people, and I had no money to spare for this.
I was upset to the point of tears, not knowing what to do. Earnest could not have been more kind and in control of the situation. He assured me that his only agenda was for my safety and he would do what he could to help. Earnest provided me with a good used tire. He repaired the other tire and asked only that I come back to him to purchase the tires as soon as I am able. He didn't have to ask because I wouldn't feel good about going anywhere else.
Ernest Selma is a fine representation of caring, kindness, and customer service. I could not be more grateful to him for his calm handling, generous help, and understanding at my time of frustration and need. Mountain View Tire is fortunate to have Earnest Selma as a part of your team. He is the only person I will be buying new tires from in the future.

A Triple A truck escorted me to your Long Beach location with a flat tire. I wanted the bad tire changed with the spare and the Triple A driver couldn't find my wheel lock key. There were several people at your Long Beach store waiting for tire repair. I told Angel Marquez that I didn't want a new tire or a tire repair because I needed to get home to take our other car to drive to Pasadena. He immediately(!) found my wheel lock key, cheerfully began taking out my spare tire, and changed my tire himself. In no time, I was on my way at no charge. Angel Marquez is the greatest! Just thought I'd let you know.

I dropped my car off for new brakes just before 4:00pm and it was ready by 6:00pm the same day. That was fantastic. I wouldn't change a thing about your store.
