To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing to you today to register a complaint against the staff at Mountain View Tire in Upland, Ca. On the afternoon of Monday April 3rd, 2011 my mother went to Mountain View Tire in hopes of having her oil changed. She first went into the office to inquire abount the service. The manager on duty went into the garage and asked one of the technicians if he would have time to perform the service. The technician asked who the service was for. The manager pointed towards my mother who was now standing outside next to her car. The technician replied, in earshot of my mother, "The little old lady with the Corvette? Tell her to come back in the morning." I do not feel as though I need to say anything more but I would like to add that this incident occurred just three (3) days after her birthday.
Sincerely,
David J. Kelly
Owner's replyThank you, David, for your review. I apologize for your negative experience, and I assure you that what happened is not acceptable to my family either. I understand that you had a nice phone conversation with my brother Paul, and that he invited you and your mother back so we can make this right. I appreciate that opportunity David, and I'm confident we can earn your trust. Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention. - Chris Mitsos, Vice President / Mountain View Tire
